PHD, Sexologist and Head of the Sexological Institute of Murcia

Jesús Rodríguez is an expert in sexual medicine with an extensive academic and professional career. With a PhD in Health Sciences from the Miguel Hernández University and several masters in Clinical Psychology and Sexology, he has dedicated his professional career to counseling and therapy in the treatment of different sexual dysfunctions.

Currently, he is the Head of the Sexological Institute of Murcia (ISM), where he combines his clinical work with research and training of professionals in the field of sexual health. He is also a member of the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and the European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM), which makes him a leader in this field.

Jesús Rodríguez completed his degree in Health Sciences at the University of Murcia between 1995 and 2000. Subsequently, his interest in sexual health led him to complete a master's degree in Sexology and Human Sexuality, organized by the Hispano-American Society of Applied Psychology (HISPAMAP), which marked the beginning of his career at the Sexological Institute of Murcia, where he is currently the head.

Later, he consolidated his training by getting a PhD in Health Sciences from the Miguel Hernandez University, focusing on the development of a new method for the treatment of premature ejaculation. In addition, Jesús has participated as a collaborating professor at the University of Murcia (UMU), the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and the Spanish Association of Cognitive Behavioral Psychology (AEPCC).
