Have you been feeling a bit down recently? Have you been feeling a bit off? Maybe you don’t feel like sex at the moment either? Do you feel insecure in bed maybe? What you need to know that a healthy sex life  starts with your  self-esteem, and by paying attention to what you need and want, and what makes you feel good every day

You need to relax! Some things are temporary and happen to all men, but there’s a solution, and that’s the most important thing. As you well know, self-esteem is the set of perceptions, thoughts, and opinions that you have about yourself. It’s what you think and feel about yourself, and the satisfaction you feel about yourself in all aspects of physical, emotional, social, and sexual well-being, as well as your health.

Quite often, all those negative feelings that come to the surface are caused by a lack of self-esteem or a low self-esteem. Life is full of ups and downs, and our self-esteem follows suit. So, as a man you have to take care of it, and take care of yourself too in order to feel good and always have the highest self-esteem you possibly can

This doesn’t always have to do with how you look after yourself, even though there is a direct link there. It also has to do with a lack of motivation at work, your social relationships, and, of course, your well-being and your sexual relationships

So, because we want to raise your self-esteem and  help you feel amazing all the time, we want to share a series of tips with you to help you enjoy life and love yourself more. We’d like to encourage you to put them into practice because, without a doubt, a quality sex life starts with you!

12 TIPS FOR ACHIEVING SEXUAL WELL-BEING

1. Always think positively

Having low self-esteem can lead to negative thoughts. Criticism affects you more and you enter into a loop of infinite negativity. Enough is enough! Be thankful for all the good things you have in your life, write them down on the fridge or in another visible place to remind yourself every day. Positive thoughtshope, and motivation sometimes depend on you. Think of all the good things you have: your family, friends, partner, work, sport, and more. No matter how small it is, if it makes you happy then it’s worth it and, in this way, you’ll avoid thinking about the negative things that fill your life with clouds. Be self-critical, but always positive. Stop beating yourself up. It’s not worth it and I’m sure you have many things to be happy about.

2. Set realistic, short-term goals

Non-conformism is your enemy; you can be a man with many goals in your life and ambitious about work, caring for your body, and your partner… but do it step by step. Sometimes setting very high expectations in the short term only achieves the opposite effect. You don’t achieve your goals and feel even more frustrated than before. Small short-term goals are much better and you’re sure to reach them easier and faster. Set goals every day in any area of your life. Together, these will allow you to reach the bigger goals – you’ll definitely achieve everything you put your mind to!

3. Harness your virtues

Yes, all men have faults, and you are the only one who has the capacity to improve them, change them, and to not let yourself be affected. Have you ever realized that, as well as the faults, you also have great virtues?  You often become obsessed with what you don’t like about yourself, and don’t think of all the good things you have and what you can do to see yourself in a better light.

Almost everything has a solution or remedy in this life and it’s also good that you find a solution for what you don’t like about yourself – either physically, personally or professionally. For example, you may be losing hair and this may affect your self-esteem. The best option here is to accept your baldness and highlight other things about your appearance. You can also think about alternative treatments to promote hair growth. So, in just a matter of minutes devoted to yourself at home, you’re finding solutions for something that makes you feel insecure.

4. Don’t compare yourself to others

The society we live in, with all its social networks and other input that you receive every day, may lead you to compare yourself with other men. Maybe they have a better body than you, or they earn more money, or they have the “perfect” partner… Hold your horses! You are you, and you must accept yourself as you are. If there’s something you don’t like about yourself then work on it, and rely on other men for inspiration and motivation. Don’t pretend to be who you aren’t, because in the end it will make you feel worse. I’m sure you’re a wonderful man – you just need to find him because he’s there!

5. Do things that make you feel good

The things that make you feel good also make you happier. But do you think you do enough things throughout the day that help you to go to bed a happier person? Routine, schedules, work… how many things do you do every day that make you happy? If you fancy going out for a run, then do it. If going out for a beer with your friends makes you happy then do that too. If you’re passionate about reading, do it. No matter how small the thing is that makes you happy, work on it every day in order to boost your self-esteem. And don’t forget sexual well-being , because sex is vital for any man…I’m sure you agree! Enjoying sex alone or with your partner will make you feel much better and raise your self-esteem – try it!

6. Take care of yourself on the inside

Feeling good physically and mentally directly influences your self-esteem. If you have a bad diet, you don’t do any sport, and sleep badly then it’ll be impossible for you to feel 100% good about yourself. Choose a healthy life, have a balanced diet, get out there and move… and don’t forget to rest. With small healthy habits you’ll feel better and you’ll be happier, as well as improving your quality of life.

7. Take care of yourself on the outside

Go shopping and keep your wardrobe up to date. Always dress smart, comfortably, and sexily. Fashion for men is more in vogue than ever, and dressing well and seeing yourself as a gentleman is certainly a boost  for your self-esteem. Take care of your wardrobe, from the underwear which makes you feel more manly, to shirts, pants, shoes, and even accessories or bracelets for men. Doing all of this will certainly make you feel good!

 8. Increase your attractiveness and sex appeal every day

As men, we like to take care of ourselves more and more and we encourage you to do it too. Feeling and looking handsome and attractive raises self-esteem. Devote time to your hair care, your beard, your body and visit a beauty center for men at least once a month. There you can spoil yourself and leave there feeling very attractive. Get your sex appeal up too! The key is to have confidence  in yourself, not only physically but also sexually. Sex will help you feel happier, and will increase your well-being and your self-esteem. Remember, for your partner (or potential partner) to like you, you have to like yourself first.

9. Pamper your masculine beauty

Of course, you should take care of your hygiene and enhance your attractiveness every day. A man’s daily care routine is vital for improving their self-esteem. Choose the products that you like and set aside time for shaving, styling your hair, and your personal care, for example, a face massage.

10. Devote more time to yourself

Men need intimacy, too. Dedicate time to yourself, and to the cultivation of your mind and body. Set aside time to find yourself and analyze where you’re at, and how you want to be…or devote yourself to man things and stop thinking. How about a massage once in a while? Relax and you’ll feel like new!

11. Socialize as much as you can

Friends, family, your partner, meeting people… socialization is fundamental for self-esteem. You’re not alone, and being and sharing with more people can help you feel better in every way. Laughing, talking about subjects that you love, or simply raising a toast to life and celebrating what you have is very positive. Practice it!

12. Live for the moment and enjoy today

Returning to the theme of goals and an uncertain future…all men have hopes and aspirations in life. But life is the here and now, and you have to enjoy and live for what you have. If you do that, then tomorrow will always be better. Thinking about the future can create all sorts of anxiety. Yes, you can think about what you want to be, what you want to have, or how you see yourself in 10 years time, but if things don’t turn out as you expected then just learn to live each day as if it were your last and don’t get frustrated with the future. Carpe diem!

Learning to love yourself is not an easy task, my friend, but if you want to, you can, and everything in this life is a matter of trying and training. Read through this list of tips every day and apply them to your life. You’ll feel fulfilled, you’ll always be heading in the right direction, and you’ll increase your happiness in every area of your life – physical, emotional, personal, professional, and, of course, sexual. Learn to love yourself!
